Show Sponsor

Probably the wittiest comedy in the English language.  The alternate title to this play is a "A Trivial Comedy For Serious People"

To avoid various social responsibilities, Jack Worthing has invented an irresponsible younger brother named Earnest. Misunderstandings, mistaken identity and hilarious confusion ensues.

First produced in 1895, this remains one of Oscar Wilde's most popular works.

Karen Hauser directs this witty theater classic.
